How to Care for Your Jeans:
First of all! jeans are not supposed to be washed!!! We know it sounds stranged, but the beauty of denim comes from the person wearing the crap out of their jeans. Once worn for long periods of time, the indigo breaks down and starts to separate from the cotton fibers, hence leaving an aged worn look. Properly age your jeans and they will repay you by looking beautiful. Farmer recommends two techiniques to care for your jeans.
Technique No. 1
Core denim enthusiast only
1. Buy them raw!! which means unwashed, untampered, pure natural denim. please note to buy one size smaller.
2. Wear them for 6 to 12 months without wash or until your significant other threatens to leave you.
3. After the breakdown period of at least 6 months spray them down with water in your back yard.
4. Hand twist dry, stretch out the seams and dry in the sun.
5. Wear them until they stink and start this proccess all over again
Technique No. 2
Average denim enthusiast
1. Buy one of Farmer’s natrual washes and wear for 6 months without wash.
2. After 6 months, turn them inside out ,wash in cold water and hang dry.
3. Wear them until they stink and start this proccess all over again
